Every year tens of thousands of Greyhounds are discarded when they are no longer good enough for the track.

Just a fraction of these end up in rescue shelters, many in a terrible state (wounded, mutilated, broken bones...). In the shelters they receive necessary care and experience a soft hand for the first time in their lives.  The volunteers in the shelters invest a great deal of time and energy in making the dogs ready for adoption.

When people get to know these beautiful top athletes with big hearts, no one is left unmoved.

A Grey’s Home arranges adoptions for Irish Greyhounds

Our goal:

  • Inform people about the greyhound industry
  • Organise meet & greets to allow people to get to know these fantastic dogs and to find appropriate adoption families.
  • Support our Irish colleagues through donations and placing greyhounds in Belgium.
